She turned 78

The heavy rains did not dampen the spirits of relatives, friends and guests from attending the 78 th birthday celebration of Banwahanon awardee Cecilia del Castillo Lopez on November 22.

She is the founder/president of Jack and Jill School/Castleson High and Sidera Special Child Center .

The celebrator did not only establish magnificent accomplishments in the field of education but also in community service and humanity. She is the school's heart, soul, and inspiration all because of her noblest vocation, which is touching.

Jill Ann Tajonera welcomed everybody, followed by a musical presentation per branch of the school. Presentations include a PHHC Dance Medleys of the 60's, City Heights Medley of the 70's, Victorias Medleys of the 80's and Sidera Medleys of the 90's.

Teachers from different branches of the school honored her with gifts and a bouquet, followed by the singing of the Happy Birthday song before the blowing of the candles and slicing of the cake.

During dinner, a slide presentation about the celebrant, her siblings and work was presented.

Her daughters, son-in-laws, apos and special friends gave special messages.

The celebrator thanked everybody for coming in spite of the pouring rain.

To the celebrator, God bless you with good health.
