Christmas animation
BY MARICAR ARANAS

The Negros Oriental government will launch the Christmas Capitol Animation on December 16 at the Provincial Capitol Building, in Dumaguete City.

The event is a revival of the Christmas displays of the Capitol, and will focus on the birth of Jesus Christ, Gov. Emilio Macias II said yesterday.

It will be built with funds from various projects of the province, and some materials in last year's presentation will be used, he said.

The animation will also feature the different influences, experiences and history of Negros Oriental, Macias said, referring to various races that migrated and lived in the province.

The displays will feature the Chinese community which represents business, Spanish for Christianity, Japanese for courtesy and respect, and the Americans for education and other development, organizers added.*MA
