| Two Pulupandan residents yesterday complained that persons believed to be paramilitary men had destroyed their properties.
Maria Teresa Igbaras Bulaclac said she was one of the heirs of Eriberto Igbaras who was the recipient of Lot 1201 under Presidential Decree No. 27 in Zone 4, Pulupandan, that was part of the mother lot of Fernando Mapa.
She said Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit members headed by a certain Bebong Miravalles on instructions of Madgie Infante, municipal administrator of Pulupandan, fenced in the property and plowed their farm lot with a tractor.
We are legitimate owners of the lot, we pay property taxes, I do not know why they did that, said Bulaclac, who filed a blotter report before the Pulupandan police.
Pulupandan Mayor Magdaleno Peña, who was in Manila yesterday, said it was Infante who was the owner of the property in question, being an heir of Mapa.
Inspector Joshua Villasis, Pulupandan police chief, said the persons Bulaclac was referring to in her blotter report were not CAFGU members, they were members of the civil security force in Pulupandan.
Aside from Miravalles, named in the blotter report were Joel Yonque, Allen Mula, Jeffrey Pongyan and Bogart Amacio.
Meanwhile Imelda Verayo complained that CAFGU men destroyed the fence, plants and terrace of their house in Zone 4 Pulupandan. Her husband is Rodolfo Verayo.*CPG
