DOH gives add'l
P5M to CLMMRH
BY CARLA GOMEZ

The Department of Health has released an additional P5 million for the operational expenses of the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City, Dr. Epifania Simbul, CLMMRH chief of hospital, said yesterday.

Simbul said the amount will be used to buy medicines and augment the hospital's operational expenses.

It will also free up some of the regular hospital funds for employees benefits, such as hazard pay, she said.

Rep. Jose Carlos Lacson (Neg, Occ., 3 rd district) had helped facilitate the release of the additional funds for the CLMMRH.

Meanwhile, Dr. Lydia Depra-Ramos, DOH regional director, said she will join the CLMMRH management team headed by Simbul in a meeting Monday.

The meeting is part of a regular quarterly activity to monitor the performance of the regional hospital, she said.*CPG
