| A night of Rotarians
Rotarians from Zones V, VI and VII under District 3850 recently gathered for an evening of celebration and fun for the Joint Governors Address, held at the Business Inn in Bacolod City .
Everybody welcomed District 3850 Governor Renier “Prince” Gerochi and his wife, Frances, who always takes time to join her husband on all his trips even to as far as Basilan.
It was also a night for recognizing Rotarians for their contribution to the Rotary Foundation as Paul Harris Fellows. District Governor nominee Edgar Sy of the Rotary Club of Bacolod received a sapphire pin.
The Council of Presidents of Negros Rotary Clubs hosted the event.
The Rotary Club of Bacolod-West led the most number of Paul Harris sustaining members, followed by the Rotary Club of Marapara.
Gerochi thanked his fellow Rotarians for the various projects they have undertaken, taking to heart the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” and this year's theme, “Rotary Shares.”
To the Rotarians, keep up the good work and continue sharing!
Remember: The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination.*
