Talisay sets jobs fair
on September 6, 7

The City of Talisay, through its Public Employment Service Office, will hold a jobs fair on September 6 to 7 at the Senior Citizens' Pavilion at the public plaza, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., a press release from the mayor's office said.

PESO manager Gilbert Robles said about 20 recruitment agencies for both local and overseas employment will participate in the jobs fair called "Obra Para Sa Masa." Job orders are available for nurses, teachers, engineers, domestic helpers and skilled workers.

The two-day recruitment fair, part of the city's 8th Minuluan Festival activities, will be conducted in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration with the support of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College - Talisay Campus, the press release also said.

Applicants are advised to visit the PESO of Talisay City for registration not later than September 4. Only registered applicants will be accommodated during the jobs fair.
