Sexagenarian killed near bar
BY RENE GENOVE

A sexagenarian was mauled to death as he was leaving a videoke bar at 11 p.m., Sunday, in Barangay Maloh, Siaton, Oriental Negros.

Santiago Callo alias "Abo", 60, married, of Sitio Umlog, Barangay Maloh was found sprawled on the ground after allegedly being mauled by Ronald Tulabing, 22, single, a farmer and resident of Sitio Olayan, Barangay Maloh.

Alfredo Sabroso, of legal age, told police investigators that he saw the victim walking out of the videoke bar along the national highway going to the barangay road.

For no reason at all, the witness said, Tulabing mauled the victim and immediately fled from the area. Callo was rushed to the Siaton Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. The police said they requested a doctor to conduct a post mortem examination to determine the cause of death.*RG
