Palawan revisited

LA VIDA NEGRENSE

It was my second visit to the Philippines' Last Frontier - Palawan, but I'm still amazed at its wonders. Honda Bay tour, Pearl farm, St. Paul's Underground River National Park (known in the ancient times as the longest and oldest subterranean river in the world) and Crocodile farm, to name a few.

The national Awards Night of Air Philippines was held recently at this tropical paradise island's Palawan Convention Center. Close to 300 guests, jetted in to join the affair. President and COO Captain Edilberto Medina was also present, along with Snooker Jaranilla, Julius Jose Coching, and Pamela Quizeo, and others.

The venue has a tropical-inspired park with lush greenery and a bridge that traverses a small lagoon.

The list of national conventions taking place in Palawan could make it the newest convention destination in the country.*
