Shorthanded Bad Boyz
stuns BBC in LNA7 tilt

An undermanned Bad Boyz quintet pulled the rug from under BBC, 96-93, Tuesday night at the resumption of the inaugural LNA7 Sports Foundation, Inc. Inter-Barkada Basketball Tournament at the West Negros College Gym in Bacolod City.

Erson Isuga and former St. La Salle varsity standout Joebert Lomotan shot 16 points each to carry Bad Boyz, playing with only 11 players, to its first victory in the tournament. Ryan Concha, Philip Famucol and Ren Ren Lacson also scored in double figures, joining hands for 35 points to offset the combined 34-point output of BBC's top guns Elmer Antonio and Joebert Pastias.

Also contributing to Bad Boyz' cause were Eric Uy, Chrismark Dayumat, Ian Cordero, Efren Miravalles, Paolo Li and Cesar Noble. The six players combined for 29 points.

Tivo Hisona and Edward Quizan had 11 and 10 points, respectively for BBC. The other BBC scorers were Jessie Moreno with 6; Raul Tillaman, Renan Arevalo and Rico Cabato with 5 each; Philip Abong and Boknoy Poja with 6 apiecel Norman Fegidero with 3, and Nonoy Jago, Jeff Nipocpan and Eric Deloria with 2 each. *CPT
