Hunt for hold-upper of
gas station still on

Police operatives are conducting a manhunt operation against two unidentified persons who held up a gasoline station in Brgy. Bata at about 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Gherson Erasco Barcenilla, 18, a pump boy at NICA gasoline station, reported to the Police Station 3 that two men approached him and allegedly declared a hold up. One of the suspects aimed a gun of unidentified caliber at Barcenilla, while the other took the P5,000 cash from the station's drawer before they fled, police records showed.

In another hold-up incident near the Mayfair Plaza at 12th and 13th Streets in Bacolod City recently, an ex-convict was arrested by bystanders and security guards when he and two other persons held up passengers of a public utility jeepney at knifepoint.

The suspect identified as Ike Perez Bautista, 45, married, of Punta Kapre, Brgy. 8, Bacolod is now detained at the Police Station 2.

He was recently released from the National Penitentiary in Muntinlupa City after serving sentence for frustrated homicide, the police said.

The police said his companions, who were identified by the victims through the Rogue's Gallery as Ritchie Treyes Sanz and Errol Donguines, alias "Bulldog", are still at large.* PP
