Panaad bowlfest slated April 20

The three-day Panaad sa Negros Open Invitational Trio Bowling Tournament will start Friday, April 20, at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Bowling Alley in Bacolod City.

Hosting the tournament is the Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers, Inc., led by its president, Edgar Allan Del Rosario. The event is an eight-game series where the top three teams in two divisions will vie for the crown and the top prize in an up-the-ladder system.

Twenty bowling squads in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City are expected to join the event, including the Negros Professional Bowlers Club, Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers, Occidental Negros -Bacolod City Bowlers Association and ESD Silverado.

Also joining the tournament are Barangay I ASSFBI, Mulo Aircon Services/NPBC, Bago City Bowlers Bowlers Association, Cadiz City Bowlers, Sharp Phils., Panasonic, Knights of Columbus, Davies Paint, Roa's Lechon, Hurricane/ASSFBI, Firefly, NPBC Ladies, ASSFBI Ladies, Lady Dragon, Condura, R R Pincrushers, Lady Circle, among others.

The Duckpin Bowlers Association of Iloilo has also been invited to join the tournament. Registration fee is pegged at P2,500 in the men's category and P1,500 in the women's bracket. *HLG
