Register with PhilJobnet,
graduates urged

The Department of Labor and Employment is encouraging new graduates to register with the PhilJobnet, DOLE's online computerized jobs and skills matching system, to gain access to thousands of vacancies and prospective employers.

About half a million students from 1,647 colleges and universities in the country are graduating this year. DOLE said in a press release that it entered into a memorandum of agreement with the Commission on Higher Education last month for the registration of Batch 2007 with the PhilJobnet before the CHED issues the Special Order to the graduates.

The CHED has already asked its regional offices and covered higher education institutions to implement the agreement with the DOLE.
