ILOILO DOWNS CEBU XI
BY CHRISTIAN IRL TAN

A second half penalty conversion by Jake Morallo denied the victory for 10-man West Negros College as Oriental Negros FA stalled the hosts, 1-1, in a rough opening-day encounter in the Visayas regionals of the 2006 PFF Men's U-19 Championship in Bacolod City.

The result meant the Wesnecans, representing the Negros Occidental FA, need to win their next two matches for them to advance to the national finals.

West Negros faces Cebu at 3 p.m. today, before wrapping up their assignment against powerhouse Iloilo FA at 10 a.m. Sunday.
