No retake!

That was the cry of about 200 Negrense nursing graduates who passed the June nursing board examination at a rally at the Bacolod Public Plaza yesterday morning.

The protestors, wearing black T-shirts as a sign of protest, also signed a manifesto calling on President Gloria Arroyo to reconsider her decision ordering the retake of Tests III and V of the board examination, amid a leakage scandal.

The Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing - Region 6 chapter also issued a statement earlier opposing a retake.moremoremore

Bail has been set at P30,000 each

Suatengco's lawyer Roger Reyes, however, has filed a motion to quash the charges on the grounds that his client's case should have been filed before the Municipal Trial Court in Cities where cases punishable by imprisonment below 6 years should be lodged. moremoremore
