A World War 2 vintage aerial bomb capable of demolishing and flattening
a building was discovered by a sugarcane worker in Hacienda Claudio,
Brgy. 2 poblacion, Sagay City, during the weekend.
Supt. William Seņoron, Sagay police chief, yesterday said
the vintage bomb that is about 6x12 inches in diameter was found
by Ronilo Caņeto on Sept. 8 in the hacienda.
The vintage bomb which was mistaken as scrap iron, was immediately
turned over by the Sagay police Police Officer 1 Johnny Orban, bomb
specialist of the Escalante City Police Station for proper disposition.
Initial police investigations show the vintage bomb may explode
if it is forced open.
