STL in Negros postponed

The start of Small Town Lottery operations in several towns and cities in Negros Occidental on Sept. 8 has been rescheduled to Sept. 15, Manapla Mayor Manuel Escalante said yesterday. He said the postponement was decided on to allow for the finalization of a Memorandum of Agreements that they can agree on.

Romualdo Quiñones, manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Special Project Department, had earlier said the Super Lucky Beagler Inc. has been granted authority to run the STL in Negros Occidental.

A DAILY STAR source said STL will initially operate in San Carlos City, Sagay, Escalante, Cadiz, Manapla, Silay and Hinigaran.*CPG
