Bacoleņo knifed dead;
2 others stabbed, too

A 29-year-old man died while two others were injured in separate stabbing incidents in Bacolod City Tuesday and yesterday.

Declared dead on arrival at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital was Bernard Ycole, 29, of Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City who succumbed to a stab wound on his chest allegedly inflicted by a certain Junjie Aguilar, 19 in Brgy. Mansilingan at about 1 a.m. yesterday, police reports said.

Romano Amaro, 31, of Manapla town, Negros Occidental also sustained a stab wound on his back allegedly inflicted by an unidentified person at the Bacolod Libertad Market at about 2 a.m. yesterday.

Amaro was walking in the area when he was stabbed, reports said.

Meanwhile, Romulo Lequigan, 57, married, of Brgy. 7, Bacolod City was also rushed to the CLMMRH with a stab wound on his back inflicted by a still unidentified person at the Bacolod Vendor's Plaza at about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Lequigan was drinking beer in a kiosk when the unidentified person hit him with a bladed weapon, hospital reports said.*DMG
