Wanted persons nabbed

Two persons facing charges of robbery with homicide and attempted homicide, were arrested Wednesday in Binalbagan and Escalante City, Negros Occidental.

Guimaras resident Radin de la Cruz who has a pending arrest warrant for robbery with homicide, was apprehended by a team of Sagay policemen led by SPO1 Remegio Cabaluna in Brgy. Dian-ay, Escalante, for cattle rustling.

Supt. William Seņoron yesterday said de los Reyes, 24, was apprehended for allegedly stealing a carabao of Eusebio Jimenez in Brgy. Puey, Sagay City, which he sold to a certain Armando Selibio.

Seņoron said Selibio was also arrested for violation of the anti-fencing law.

The Sagay police later found out that de la Cruz has a pending arrest warrant for robbery with homicide issued by Judge Marilyn Deloria who denied him bail.

Senior Inspector Virgilio de la Cruz also reported yesterday the arrest in Brgy. Enclaro, Binalbagan, of Rodolfo Manapsal, alias Boyet, who is facing string of criminal cases before the Cadiz City Regional Trial Court. De la Cruz, Binalbagan police chief, said Manapsal has pending cases for illegal possession of firearms and attempted homicide with bail recommended at P200,000 and P12,000, respectively.

Manapsal was turned over to the Cadiz City Police Station for detention, while de los Reyes is still being detained at the police station jail of Sagay City, pending his transfer to the Jordan Police Station Jail in Guimaras.*GPB
