Dads approve P1,000
added pay at Capitol

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental yesterday approved a resolution granting an additional compensation of P1,000 each to more than 1,500 Capitol employees.

The resolution endorsed by Governor Joseph Maraņon, and authored by Board Member Miller Serondo, chairperson of the SP Committee on Finance, allocated P15 million for the purpose which is part of the 2006 supplemental budget number 3 of the Negros Occidental provincial government of P73.7 million. It was approved by the SP during its regular session yesterday.

The P73.7 million supplemental budget also includes funding for Task Force Ilahas program - P2.2 million, re-appropriation of programs and projects - P13 million. subsidy to economic enterprise - P11 million, construction of a school building in Calatrava - P10 million, various priority projects - P10. 9 million, support to agricultural productivity - P1 million;

Panaad sa Negros - P2.6 million, improvement of Negros Occidental multi-purpose gym -P1. 5 million, Capitol outlay - P5 million, irrigation projects - P279,000, janitorial services - P182,000, additional funding for medical and surgical outreach mission - P101,000, janitorial services (Provincial Health Office0_ P68,000.

The SP also approved the supplemental budget number 1 of the Negros Occidental Economic Enterprise Development Department of P23.6 million.*GPB
