BY CEDELF TUPAS

Former West Negros College goalkeeper Eduard Sacapaņo has been included in the 20-man Philippine roster for the AFC Challenge Cup in Bangladesh next week.

Sacapaņo, who helped Negros Occidental clinch the 2002 National Open crown in Bacolod City, joins the squad led by the prolific Emelio Caligdong and defender Aly Borromeo.

Fil-Briton brothers James Joseph and Philip James Younghusband, who represented the country in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games, were not included in the line-up for the Challenge Cup.

The Philippines was drawn into Group A for the AFC Challenge Cup and will face India on April 3 before wrapping up its group assignments against Afghanistan on April 5.

Bacolod SEA Games veterans Mark Villon, Bervic Italia, Gerard Orcullo, Jesan Candolesa, Jeffrey Liman and Ian Araneta as well as goalkeeper Ref Cuaresma, Wilson De La Cruz, Rolly Perez, Anton Gonzales, Roel Gener, Jeremias Jiao, Marjo Allado, Winnie Subere, Alvin Valeroso and Luis Brillantes complete the 20-man roster. *CPT
