Class '73 bowlers keep lead

Class '73 Globelines firmed up its hold on the leadership in class A department, as Class '62 stayed on topt in class B, of the ongoing 2006 Negros Occidental High School Inter-Class Alumni Bowling Championship at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

With three more playing date to go, the Globlelines pinshooters are leading the 10-team cast with 10,744 pinfalls, 142 pins ahead over second-running, Class '66, with 10,602.

Occupying the third spot is Class '83 with 10,416 followed by Class '68 with 10,366; Class '82 has 10,106; Class '67, 10,061; Class '59, 10,000; Class '80, 9,799; Class '74, 9,647, and Class '89, 9,596.

Class '62 is on top in Class B category with 10,484.

Other scores include Class '65 with 10,410; Class '70, 10,122; Class '71, 10,007; Faculty, 9,930; Class '72, 9,885; Class 54, 9,634; Class '58, 9,573; Class '56, 9,215, and PTA, 7,922.

Class '73 record in the team single and triple remain at 589 and 1,626 pinfalls.

In the individual contest, Butch Villagracia and Felipe Boy Romero, of Class '73 kept the highest single and triple marks with 150 and 386 pinfalls, respectively as Santi Gemoto, of Class '70 in highest pinning with 95.

Ann Dayot, of Class '82 is the record holder in the women's triple with 337 as Eva Khubchand, Class '68 and Tess Aplaon, of Class '65 are top single and pinning with 136 and 96.*HLG
