3 nabbed for snatching

Three Bacolod residents were nabbed by Police Precinct 7 policemen at about 10:30 p.m. in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, for allegedly stealing a cellphone.

Mark Anthony Rico, 23, single, of Purok Himaya, Danilo Atillano, 23, single, of Purok Matahum, and Albaert Sauce, 23, single, of Maya St., Purok Paghidaet were arrested by PP7 men led by SPO2 Ricardo Gonzales when they snatched a Nokia 3315 cellphone worth P3,800, police reports said.

The three suspects are currently detained at PP7 after they were identified by cellphone owner Maribel Rivera, 29, single, of no.26 Luzuriaga St., Brgy. 29, police reports said.

Rivera said she was waiting for a jeepney plying the Mansilingan-Central Market route near Gaisano Main when the three suspects snatched her cellphone, police reports added.

The cellphone was recovered from the possession of Atillano, police reports said.*CIT
