Class 73 keeps
leads in bowlfest

Class '73 Globelines continued its winning ways in the class A department, while Class '62 did the same in class B, in the ongoing 2006 Negros Occidental High School Inter-Class Alumni Bowling Championship at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Globlelines is now leading the 10-team pack with a six rounds collection of 9,259 pinfalls, 118 pins ahead over second-running Class '66, with 9,141. Third in command is Class '83 with 8,934 followed by Class '68 with 8,878.

The other squads with their corresponding output: Class '82, 8,685; Class '67, 8,616; Class '59, 8,528; Class '80, 8,370; Class '74, 8,263, and Class '89, 8,176.

Jun Garrucho's Class 62 is on top of the heap in Class B category with 8,939.

Other scores: Class '70, 8,681; Class '71, 8,602; Class '72, 8,479; Faculty, 8,447; Class '65, 8,428; Class '54, 8,317; Class '58, 8,151; Class '56, 7,921, and Parents Teachers Association, 6,731.

Class '73 record in the team single and triple are still intact at 589 and 1,626 pinfalls.

In the individual contest, Butch Villagracia and Felipe Boy Romero, of Class '73 kept the highest single and triple marks with 150 and 386 pinfalls, respectively as Santi Gemoto, of Class '70 in highest pinning with 95.

Ann Dayot, of Class '82 is the record keeper in the women's triple with 337 as Eva Khubchand, Class '68 and Tess Aplaon, of Class '65 in single and pinning with 136 and 96. *HLG
