2-day seminar on
landscaping set in Bacolod

The Landscape Contractors Association of the Philippines will host a two-day landscape seminar in Bacolod City on May 19 to 20, 2006, a press release from the organizers said.

The seminar, which will be held for the first time in Bacolod, has for its theme, "How To Start A Profitable Business in Landscaping."

The resource persons will be association president Ernesto Mendoza, president and seminar director Shirley Sanders, who will speak on the bright prospects of landscaping, plant growing, maintenance, dynamics of lawn business, landscape estimating and other related topics, the press release said.

Organizers said that the seminar is a window of opportunity to learning trade secrets in the fast-growing landscape industry which is now playing a major role to lure tourists searching for a change of scenery and better lifestyle.

Early bird seminar fee is P2,500 inclusive of food, handouts, and certificates of proficiency while late registration fee is P3,000.*
