The Sugar Regulatory Administration has formed a Sugar Forum, a gathering of sugar producers, planters and millers, for discussion and dialog on sugar-related topics.

Sugar Board Member Rafael Golez said in a statement that the participants will gather every second Friday of the month, 5 p.m., at the coffee shop of Business Inn in Bacolod City.

Golez said that the Sugar Forum has no membership and is open to all sugar producers. The chairmanship will be on rotation basis.

The first gathering on March 24, Saturday, 5 p.m. will have as guest speaker SRA Administrator James Ledesma, who will talk about the state of the sugar industry.*
