The Tabugon Livestock and Poultry Raisers Association recently
received a P60,000 livelihood and loan assistance from the Kabankalan
City government, a press release from the mayor's office said.
The 70-member association also received 66 bags of hog feeds
from the provincial government turned over by Nestor Bayona, executive
assistant of Gov. Joseph Maraņon, it said.
TALPRA members are presently raising 100 pigs that will be
bought by the provincial government, the press release said. The
loan assistance was turned over by Mayor Pedro Zayco who also distributed
accident insurance certificates worth P10,000 each to members of
the different civic and livelihood associations in Brgy. Tabugon.
Other officials present at the turnover rites were Vice Mayor
Raul Rivera, Board Member Adolfo Mangao Sr., Councilor Delia Anacan,
City Social Welfare Officer Adelina Tomaro, and Tabugon Brgy. Capt.
Vincent Bello, the press release added.*
