Eleven titles are at stake in the Sinigayan Invitational Motocross
Competitions that kicks off today in Sagay City.
The riders from Negros Occidental will tussle for crowns in
the pantra, enduro-beginner, enduro-novice, enduro-production, freestyle,
expert, beginner-production, novice-production, open-production,
executive and first timer divisions.
The top riders in the elimination round that takes centerstage
today will advance to the finals set tomorrow, organizers said.
The motocross hostilities, which is sponsored by the Sagay
local government and organized by the Negros Occidental Motorcycle
Sports and Safety Association, will be staged to highlight the Sinigayan
Festival of Sagay, organizers added.
Veteran rider Jovie Saulog has also been invited to showcase
his skills during the competition that is open to all motocross
players in Negros Occidental, organizers said.
NOMSSA will also hold motocross competitions in Tabugon, Kabankalan
(March 19), Ilog (March 24) and Magallon, Moises Padilla (March
27) as part of the towns and cities' fiestas, organizers added.
Registration fee in the Sinigayan event is pegged at P300.
