4-month-old needs help

The parents of a 4-month-old boy from Brgy. Galicia, Ilog town, in Negros Occidental are asking the help of DAILY STAR readers to have the child undergo an immediate operation for a big boil in his lower back.

Angelito Gudaca, 4 months old, was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for a boil that had developed near his anus. His mother, 27-year-old Ailyn Gudaca, was advised by a pediatrician to submit the child to an immediate operation, a certification from the Municipal Social Welfare Office of Ilog said.

However, the operation was not performed because of financial problems of the family. The income of Peter Gudaca, 26, the boy's father, as a laborer is not enough for the operation and medicines needed by Angelito, it added.

Any help for the patient may be coursed through the DAILY STAR office.*GCT
