CLO reviewing cases
of 4 EAs, mayor says
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

The Bacolod City Legal Office is now reviewing the case of the four executive assistants who failed to meet qualification standards set by the Civil Service Commission, Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia said yesterday.

Leonardia said he has discussed with City Legal Officer Alan Zamora the possibility of appealing the CSC memorandum which requires executive assistants to have a Bachelor's degree, to have one year relevant experience and professional career service eligibility. We are only preparing for any eventuality, he said. Those who failed to meet the CSC requirement are Executive Assistants Romeo Escalona, Crispin Monte, Rodolfo Yanson and Jonah Abao.

Leonardia said there is an advice that they can go on vacation so their service will not be disrupted while their position is being evaluated.*CGS
