2-year-old boy
needs help

A 2-year-old boy from Brgy. Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental, who has been diagnosed to have tuberculosis meningitis needs help from DAILY STAR readers for his medication at Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.

Feljun Ciocon, 2, was brought to the Bago District hospital suffering from typhoid fever but was later transferred to the Our Lady of Mercy Specialty Hospital in Bacolod and treated for TB meningitis, his mother, 43-year-old Fely, a jobless, said. A cranial CT scan on Feljun revealed that he had moderate hydrocephalus and the possibility of meningitis was not ruled out, hence, he was taken to CLMMRH for further treatment, medical records show.

Fely said she and husband, Antonio Ciocon, 53, a farmer, cannot afford the medicines prescribed for Feljun and this prompted them to seek financial assistance.

Any help for the patient may be coursed through the DAILY STAR office.*GCT
