AFP retirees meet Thursday

Retirees of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Negros Occidental are called to an organizational meeting to be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ting-ting's Restaurant, at B.S. Aquino Drive, in Bacolod City, a press release from the AFP Retirees Association said. The meeting aims to unite all AFP retirees in Western Visayas and to assist members in availing of their benefits, Antonio Sapalo of AFPRA-Western Visayas Inc. said in the press release.

Virgilio Silva, regional president of the retirees assocatiion, was invited to be the inducting officer of the local chapter officials, the press release added.*
