CSC: 4 EAs not qualified
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

Four executive assistants of the Bacolod City government failed to meet the qualification standards set by the Civil Service Commission.

They are Romeo Escalona, Cris Monte, Rudy Yanson and Jonah Abao.

Secretary to the Mayor Roger Balo said he received a letter from the CSC Negros Occidental Friday requiring that executive assistants should be college graduate, have one year relevant experience and should have professional career service eligibility. He said he referred the letter to City Legal Officer for opinion and has already informed the concerned executive assistants about the requirements.

Balo said City Legal Officer Allan Zamora advised that they should follow the CSC decision because they have no basis to ask for reconsideration. He said the Commission on Audit already has a copy of the CSC memorandum.*CGS
