The competing squads were finalized during a coaches and team representatives' meeting Friday that was presided by tournament organizer Rolando "Jack" Maraņon at the Gaisano City Mall basement area.

Interested teams are still allowed to apply for the event, but their entries will only approved if there will be squads that will back out from the tournament, Maraņon, who also serves as the regional commissioner of the Basketball Association of the Philippines, said.

The deadline of submission of entries, drawing of lots and final meeting for the competing squads is set on March 25.

Interested teams that still want to submit their entries may contact Maraņon at telephone number 432-4474 or Gaisano City Mall events coordinator Nomer Lobaton at telephone no. 435-8888. *CIT
