BY CHRISTIAN IRL TAN

Twenty-six members have joined the Negros Toxophilites Guild, an archery club formed about six months ago, at the LVL Multi-Purpose Center in Bacolod City.

The archery club, which was organized by Eddie Boy Ledesma, Jose Mari Vargas, Victor Puey and brothers Adolf and Romeo Ledesma, conducts its practices from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., a press release from NTG said.

The club has also made an arrangement with the Ledesma brothers to use their archery ranges at Hacienda Lonoy, adjacent to the Hawaiian Philippines Sugar Central in Silay City for outdoor practices, the press release added. Officers of NTG are president Dave Hojilla, vice president Gringo Benedicto, secretary Tricia Tronco and treasurer Arnie Mitra, who is also offering trainings for Guild members at P3,000 for ten one-hour sessions.

The press release from NTG said that membership can be obtained through the endorsement of a member who must ensure the applicant's compliance with club regulations and safety rules.

Membership fee is pegged at P2,000, while the monthly dues of members stand at P200 as well as shooting fee of P20 per session, NTG said in the press release.

The Guild is holding monthly shooting tournaments to improve the personal best scores of its members and to familiarize the tournament conditions in the national level, the press release said. *CIT
