A homosexual was stabbed dead by a person with whom he allegedly transacted for sexual favors on Wednesday in Brgy. 1 poblacion, Sagay City, the police said.

The victim, identified as Lorenzo Mahilum, 22, who sustained 17 stab wounds in his body, was declared dead on arrival at the Alfredo Marañon District Hospital in Sagay City, PNP Desk Officer George Vasquez said.

Police investigations show that Lorenzo and his companion, also a homosexual, allegedly transacted with two persons for sexual favors, and had gone separate ways.

Supt. William Señoron, Sagay police chief, said they received reports that the killing may have been triggered by disagreements over payments.

Señoron said they have a lead that may help unmask the identity of the suspects in the death of Mahilum.*GPB
