The wedding of Neil and Rowena

One of the most anticipated weddings in the province was that between handsome Neil Ereneto Lizares, son of Nilo and Nanette Lizares, and the beautiful and radiant Rowena Lopez, daughter of Hernan "Macoy" and Dolly Lopez, held at the Queen of Peace Church in Bacolod City recently.

Fr. Narciso de la Cruz officiated at the rites, with Frs. Matthew Fernandez and Alfredo Gamarcha.

The couple's godfather and godmother were their principal sponsors.

The bridesmaids were Mary Joyce Fuentebella, Pinky Abaño, Patricia Ann Cooper and Katrina Golez, who honored the bride with a "Despidida de Soltera" or bachelorette's party.

The groom is Talisay City Vice Mayor and the number one councilor for the last two consecutive terms. He is also into sugar farming, and has various projects such as medical missions, tree-planting and bloodletting.

L'Fisher that night was aglow and guests were dressed to the nines. The two alternating bands played the favorites of the crowd.

The give-aways were beautiful pink jewelry boxes accented with a lavender clip.
