Swimming, golf, shooting, derby and athletics competitions will be staged during the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2006 from April 22 to 30 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

The Panaad Derby will be showcased April 23 to 25, while the Panaad Sports Competitions will be played April 26 to 28.

Competitors in the Panaad Sports-Athletics hostilities will see action on April 28, while the Panaad Golf Competitions will be held at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club April 29 to 30 as well as the Panaad Shoot Fest.

The 2nd Negros Panaad National Age-Group Swim Fest will be held at the Panaad Olympic Pool April 28 to 29.

Negros has produced swimming sensations in the past including former Philippine Team members Juan Carlo Piccio and Mark Kalaw. Negrense swimming standouts like Krestia Angela Lacson, Carmela Nava and Kiefer Piccio will also most likely compete in the national age-group event.

Pop dance showdowns, festival dances and dancesports competitions and dog shows will also be showcased during the weeklong festival dubbed "Tatak Negros". *CIT
