A Department of Education official reminded the coaches and trainers to instill more discipline to the Negros athletes who will see action in the 2006 Western Visayas Regional Athletics Association Meet from March 16 to 21 at the Villareal Stadium in Roxas City, Capiz.

In a meeting at the Panaad Park and Stadium Monday, Felipe Dumancas, DepEd Physical Education and School Sports head, told the different coaches and trainers to make sure that their student-athletes are following the sleeping and eating rules set by the Negros delegation officials.

The DepEd found out that some members of the Negrense contingent stay out late and are not eating their meals at the proper times so the coaches and trainers need to check their athletes more, Manuel De Oro, officer-in-charge of the Provincial Sports and Development Office, said.
