The Board of Nursing had withheld the examination results
of 599 WNC nursing graduates for alleged course overloading but
released the results Thursday last week. BON and Professional Regulation
Commission officials, after being grilled at a House budget hearing,
had committed to do so.
Of the 599 examines 476 or 79.46 percent passed.
However, the BON, in releasing the examination results of the
599, also filed administrative cases against them for alleged course
overloading.
The passers will be allowed to take their oaths but will not be
able to avail of their nurse licenses until the administrative cases
are resolved, PRC legal division chief Pharson Mamalo said.*CPG
