Prices of raw sugar
slip to P1,200 level

Prices of raw or "B" sugar slipped to P1,200 level - between P1,205 and P1,285 per 50-kilo Lkg. - at the bidding Thursday after hitting above P1,300 last week.

In the previous week, prices of "B" sugar soared to as much as P1,340 per Lkg. The week before last, trading was between P1,180 and P1,245 per Lkg.

Price monitor shows that on March 2, Victorias Milling Company district's VIMACA disposed its stocks at P1,210 per Lkg while HPCO's Unifed, P1,275 and AHSSI/APSSI, P1,285.38.

Central Azucarera de La Carlota's Unifed sold its "B" sugar at P1,260 and AALCPI, P1,272.38 while SONEDCO's Kabilog, SONEPA, SPDA, CASPLA, SONAREMCO, at P1,205.

BISCOM's IPOBI traded at P1,230.31, PASON, P1,235 and BIPA, P1,245.98.

Dacongcogon's DPMCI sold at P1,220.28, Sagay Central Inc.'s Northern Negros and ANAPI, P1,240 and LSC's ISEPI, P1,210.

First Farmers' FFMMC disposed its "B" stocks at P1,250; Passi I, P1,278.56; Passi II, P1,255.65 and Pilar, P1,250.*NLG
