Prisaa directors to
asses Games
BY CHRISTIAN IRL TAN

The board of directors of the National Private Schools and Athletics Association will meet in Iloilo City today to evaluate the hosting of the recent National PRISAA Games.

The board of directors will assess the performance of Pangasinan as the host of the National PRISAA Games from Feb. 5 to 11, Roger Banzuela, chairman of the Western Visayas PRISAA technical committee, said.

Banzuela, who also serves as the athletic manager for the Region VI PRISAA, will attend the meeting with Fr. Emilio Jaruda, president of the Western Visayas PRISAA.

The National PRISAA board of directors will also tackle the suggestions that will be made by the different regional heads in order to improve next year's hosting, Banzuela said, adding that plans for the 2007 staging of the national competitions will also be discussed.

It will be Region VI's turn to host the 2007 edition of the national meet after Zamboanga staged the Games in 2005 for Mindanao and Pangasinan for Luzon this year.

The Western Visayas contingent, led by its men and women's swimming squads, brought home its second consecutive overall title after topping the recent National PRISAA Games. *CIT
