Jimmy Montalvo posted 622 points to clinch the class A handicap crown of the 4th Club Shoot archery tournament at the LVL Multi-Purpose Building in Bacolod City Sunday.

Montalvo defeated brothers Dave and Bryan Hojilla, who registered 612 and 611 points, respectively, to claim the first and second runners-up honors in the class A handicap category.

Jorge Vargas shot 288 and 285 points for a total of 573 markers to emerge as the best gross scorer in the tournament that was organized by the Negros Toxophilites Guild.

In the class B handicap division, Aysa Dee placed first with 656 points, ahead of JJ Montalvo and Arne Mitra who accumulated 619 and 617 markers, respectively.

The Team Hooter's of Jimmy Montalvo and the Hojilla brothers posted a 268-267 edging against the Team D' Tox of Angela Vargas, Romeo "Boy" Ledesma and Gringo Benedicto to bring home the team championship.*CIT
