BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

A student of Silliman University was caught allegedly in the act of selling a sachet of shabu to a police-poseur buyer at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the SU Library parking lot area, Dumaguete City.

The suspect, identified as Psalm Anthony Bernardez, 19, a resident of Magatas, Sibulan, Oriental Negros, was nabbed by elements of Task Force 24 composed of the city police force, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the National Bureau of Investigation.

Task Force 24 members earlier received a tip that the suspect is selling shabu in the university.

Drug enforcement authorities also allegedly recovered from Bernardez a water pipe, a black Honda motorcycle, a cellphone and eight P100 bills in marked money.

In an interview with the DAILY STAR, Bernardez denied having in his possession the prohibited drugs that the authorities recovered.*JG
