A grand wedding
With the blessing of their parents -- Ramon and May Uy and Tonette
Maraņon and Millette Jalandoni -- Francine and Chin Chin tied the
knot at the Queen of Peace Church, officiated by Msgr. Victorino
Rivas as the main celebrant, and Frs. Noli Que and Emil Henares,
recently. Trims and Treasures meticulously planned decorated the
altar and aisle setting with the dominance of the color scheme of
pink, fuschia orange and white flowers with accented green leaves.
Lourdes Lipa and Ann Abello took care of the design of the gown
as well as the Bridal entourage. The principal sponsors were Michelle
Jalandoni, Vicky Lim, Ma. Lourdes Yupangco, Ma. Socorro Valderrama,
Geraldine Suntay, Tess Vecera, Sonia Sarrosa, Ledda Peņa, Patrocenio
Cajili, Chit Uy, Alfredo Maraņon, Antonio Lopez Jr., Leo Cueva,
Juan Miguel Valderrama, Edgardo Acuņa, Antonio Gatuslao, Alfonso
Mendoza, Marvin Velayo, Vicente Tan, and Batchoy Henares.
The maids of honor were Nikki Maraņon and Issa Lim and the best
man was Rob Acaling, while the bridesmaids were Camille Zayco, Princess
Uy, Maegie Uy and Pauline Pison.
The groomsmen were Gabby Montelibano and Ronald Zayco.
Reception followed at the Nature's Village. The twinkling and
dancing lights at the reception hall and the garden added glitterati
to the celebration. Puring Tison and Culing of Bascon Hotel took
care of the delicious food spread in the long buffet table and salad
bar with five special baked desserts at the other table.
Theirs was a high school romance that ended up at the altar.
When Chin-Chin saw Francine, he was dead set that someday, this
lovely lady will be his wife. So, when they met and went steady,
Francine told herself, they will end up as husband and wife.
The couple are entrepreneurs. He runs and manages Golden Rum Merchandising
that deals with agricultural equipment, while Francine owns and
manages FRESH Start that deals with organic fertilizer and sells
high-value vegetables.
During dinner a video was shown about their lives from childhood
to the present. DJ Ziggy and the Patequeros are raring to start
dancing and off the swaying and stomping of the young crowd, while
all the golden boys and girls just enjoyed and sometimes joined
in the crowd. Oh what a night!
To Chin-Chin and Francine, congratulations and best wishes. Remember:
"Each beat of your heart will remind you that God is with you"*
