Businessman found dead
BY DONALYN GUERRERO

The body of a businessman who allegedly committed suicide was found in a vacant lot about 10 meters away from his residence at Doņa Juliana Heights in Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City, at about 6:15 a.m. Saturday.

Nelson Villarias Kee, 44, married, and engaged in a chemical fertilizer business in Bacolod City was found with injuries in his head and right arm while holding a 9 mm pistol Glock with 10 bullets, police reports said.

Recovered from the scene were a spent shell of a 9mm about three meters away from Kee's right hand and a Sony Ericsson cellphone that was found on his chest, police reports said.

The Chinese Chamber Volunteer Medical Team rushed Kee to the Bacolod Sanitarium and Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician, police reports said.

Senior Insp. Jonathan Lorilla, Police Precinct 6 commander, yesterday told the DAILY STAR in a phone interview, no foul play surrounded the death of Kee as shown by the evidence the police recovered.

Lorilla said Kee's family told him he was suffering from an ailment that possibly drove him to kill himself. He said Kee had left a 4-page suicide note that is in the custody of his family.*DMG
