Anonymous donors
give help to boy

Mindful of the Biblical precept "not to let the left hand see what the other is doing," seven anonymous DAILY STAR readers have contributed P5,400 for the CT scan of 5-year-old Renold Carlobos who had been diagnosed to have meningitis.

Two of the generous readers gave P1,000 each, one shelled out P2,000, another two contributed P200 each, someone gave P500, and a P500 in check was given by another individual.

Ma. Luz, the mother of Renold, who came to the DAILY STAR office yesterday to thank the donors, said she will have the child undergo CT scan at 8 a.m. today at the Our Lady of Mercy Specialty Hospital in Bacolod City.

Meanwhile, Annabelle Martisano, the mother of another meningitis patient, Jasmine, expressed her gratitude to an anonymous donor of P500 for her child.

She, however, said Jasmine had to be brought to the hospital again, and, she is knocking once more at the doors of benovelent Negrenses and Bacoleņos to help her in the further medication of Jasmine.

Jasmine had been confined at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital last year. Any help for her may be channeled through the DAILY STAR office.*
