PRC SAYS
Nursing exam results
for WNC not out yet

It is not certain when the withheld results of the recent nursing board exams taken by West Negros College graduates will be released.

We have not released the results yet, Eufemia Octaviano, chairperson of the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission, told the DAILY STAR yesterday.

Ernesto Arbolario, WNC vice president for external affairs, earlier said about 530 WNC nursing graduates took the nursing board exams in December but the results for only a few have so far been released.

We have made representations with the PRC in Manila for the release of the exam results of the other graduates so they can join the oathtaking of registered nurses by January 25, he had said.

Octaviano said the verification and clarification process being conducted by the PRC Board of Nursing in coordination with the Commission for Higher Education has started.

However, she said she did not know when it will be completed and if the results can be released in time for the Jan. 25 oathtaking rites of those who passed.*CPG
