Negros
athletes joining Majority of the Negros athletes who will see action for Western Visayas in the National Private Schools and Sports Association Games in Pangasinan are already sure to join the event, WV PRISAA athletic manager Roger Banzuela said yesterday. A number of University of St. La Salle athletes, though, are still uncertain of their participation in the national tilt because they are the graduating students who will be having their examinations and some have academic problems, Banzuela said. The La Sallians, who are set to banner five out of the
nine Negros teams representing Region VI, are still negotiating with
their teachers to have a chance to play during the national hostilities,
Banzuela, who is also the USLS sports director, added. |
