5-year-old boy needs help

The mother of a 5-year-old boy currently confined at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City is seeking the help of DAILY STAR readers to help her pay for the CT scan needed for her child who has been diagnosed to have meningitis.

Ma. Luz Carlobos, 39, mother of Renold, 5, of Purok Kasanag, Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod said the boy was taken to the hospital Jan. 2, for suffering seizures.

Up to now, she said, he has not undergone a CT scan because she and husband, Reynaldo, a construction worker, have no money for the further medication of Renold.

The little amount that they have is not even enough for the medicines needed by the boy daily, she said.

The misty-eyed mother also said that, aside from Renold, they also have to look after their four other children, namely, Rizen 9, Reygan, 6, Reyan, 3, and ReyG.

Any help for Renold may be coursed through the DAILY STAR office.*
