for provincial PNP
The peace and order campaign of the Negros Occidental
police, especially in combating the drug menace, yesterday got a
boost from Sangguniang Panlalawigan members who pledged a total
of P.5 million financial support to the police.
Vice Gov. Isidro Zayco yesterday said each board
member will allocate P35,000 to be taken from their respective Special
Projects Allocation fund.
Last year, each SP member also contributed P35,000
to support the anti-drug campaign of the Negros Occidental Police
Provincial Office.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental
has 15 board members, including three representatives of the Councilors

individual and unit skills, Get everyone involved, Reduce crime,
On-line policing and Sustain internal security operations.
To ensure an effective law enforcement operation,
Calima has created six anti-crime czars to focus in the campaign
against loose firearms, wanted persons, illegal gambling and drugs,
and organized crime groups.
Board Members Francis Gerald Tuvilla and Emmanuel
Kho also turned over a television and karaoke set to Calima, in
what they call a gesture of appreciation to the outstanding performance
of the Negros Occidental police in year 2005.
The Negros Occidental police is competing with Benguet
and South Cotabato Provincial Police Offices for the best provincial
